So, here it is, the first day of a new year! I hope you all celebrated safely and happily yesterday, and are ready to face this year with a lot of energy and positive attitude.
Tonight is one of the year’s biggest reasons to celebrate. Traditionally, this is of course done with a glass of bubbly in hand.
After a few relaxing days on a Swiss mountain top, I took my better half out for a long walk with a pit/lunch stop at Babu’s Cafe here in Zürich.

Being up in the mountains for Christmas is something truly special – so peaceful and serene.
While I get tucked into my Christmas-books, I suggest you enjoy the last bit of Christmas indulgence (it’s definitely allowed!) before you make the decision to let me help you get onto a healthier path of life in the new year!
During all these family-centered Christmas celebrations, please take a moment to remember yourself as well.

Today is a glorious, happy and WARM day here in Zürich. Although the weather is not playing along, and we are most definitely not getting a white Christmas, we should all enjoy this day and think about what is important to us in life.
These cute little Merry Berry Santas will certainly find their way to my dessert table this evening.
